This summer I will be making my debut at The Gloucester Stage Company with Grand Horizons, a hilarious comedy written by Bess Wohl.

“Bill and Nancy have been happily married for fifty years. They can finish each other’s sentences and anticipate each other’s every sigh, snore, and sneeze. As their adult children descend on the Grand Horizons senior living community – they are forced to reexamine everything they thought they knew about their parents’ happy lives. A powerhouse comedy that explores a family turned upside-down and takes an intimate look at the wild, unpredictable, and enduring nature of love.”

Grand Horizons is directed by Robert Walsh. It will be performed at the main stage of The Gloucester Stage Company (267 East Main Street, Gloucester, MA). Performances run from July 29 to August 21, Wednesdays through Sundays.

Cristhian is excited to join the Merry Band as Juanito (Little John) in this exciting reimaging of the Robin Hood mythos.

“Recently back from Afghanistan in the early 2000s, Robin B. Goode is about to marry the girl of her dreams when she's falsely accused of treason and her land is seized by the sheriff. Rather than submit to yet another injustice at the hands of the powerful and wealthy, she flees to the woods, gathers a band of outlaws, and steals from the rich to give to the poor. Together, her band awaits the return of the rightful Governor, who will restore justice to Colorado.”

Robin B. Goode is written by Peter Storey, with music arranged by Jeremy Van Cleave. Directed by Cameron Gosselin. It will be performed in the black-box studio at Chelsea Theatre Works, as a collaboration of Resident Artists Lily Kaufman, Jeremy Van Cleave and Peter Storey.

Performances run from January 20th through the 29th, with a live stream available for the performance on the 28th.

I am really excited to return to the Arakelian Theater stage, at The Firehouse Center for the Arts! I will be playing the role of Glenn Cooper in Neil Simon’s “Rumors”. The show is directed by Kevin Mahaney, and will perform from November 5th through the 21st.

“At a large, tastefully-appointed Sneden’s Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room, and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken, and wife, Chris, must get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.”

Cristhian is thrilled to be playing the title role in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. The show is being produced by the Hub Theatre Company of Boston. Cristhian is a frequent collaborator with Hub, both as as an actor (previously in their production of William Gibson’s Goodly Creatures) as well as their resident Graphic Designer (click here to have a quick glance at his poster designs).

The Last Days of Judas Iscariot is written by Pulitzer Prize winning and Tony Award nominated playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis. Equal parts piety, prayer, and profanity, this play is a poignant yet hilarious examination of condemnation and compassion. Set in Hope, a rundown corner of Purgatory, a trial convenes to re-examine Judas’s crimes and determine his fate - does he deserve to ascend to Heaven or is he doomed to remain in Hell?

The play is being directed by Director, playwright, drama teacher, designer and visual artist Steven Bogart. It will run from November 8th through the 23rd at First Church Boston in Boston’s Back Bay.
